पवित्र नव वर्ष के शुभ दिन पर हमें क्या नवीन खोजने का निश्चय करना चाहिए ? भगवान हमें इस दिन प्रेम पूर्वक स्मरण दिलाते हैं।
मानवता के इतिहास के प्रारंभ से ही प्रतिवर्ष लोग पुराने वर्ष को एक विशाल समारोह के माध्यम से विदाई देते हैं, और नववर्ष का स्वागत करते हैं। वर्ष के दौरान क्या घटित होता है ? केवल निराशा, संकट, चिंता और भ्रांत करने वाला भय। क्या यही नहीं है ? इस वर्ष का यह जानने और खोजने में उपयोग करो कि शांति कैसे अर्जित की जाए ! तुम इसे केवल प्रेम के द्वारा अर्जित कर सकते हो। शांति जीवन रूपी वृक्ष का फल है। फल के बिना वृक्ष एक निष्फल ठूँठ है, जिसका कोई मूल्य या वैधता नहीं है। यह फल एक कड़वे आवरण में सुरक्षित है, जिससे की मधुर रस संरक्षित एवं सुरक्षित रह सके। इसका आवरण उतारो और तुम अंदर की मधुरता का आस्वादन कर सकते हो, और अपने को मजबूत बना सकते हो। यह मोटा छिलका छह दुर्भावनाओं का प्रतीक है, जिसके अंदर प्रत्येक मनुष्य का प्रेमपूर्ण हृदय स्थित है - काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, मद, मत्सर। जो छिलके को उतारकर, कठिन और सतत अनुशासन के द्वारा आंतरिक माधुर्य से संपर्क करते हैं, शांति प्राप्त करते हैं, जिसे हम सब चाहते हैं, वह जो सदा रहने वाली है, अपरिवर्तनशील और अपरिहार्य है।

On the auspicious and holy New Year’s day, what should we resolve to discover new? Bhagawan lovingly reminds us day.
Every year, since the beginning of history of mankind, people bid grand farewell to the old year and welcome the new year! What happens during the year? Only despair and distress, anxiety and insane fear, isn’t it? Use this year to enquire and discover how you can earn everlasting peace! You can earn it only through Love! Peace is the fruit of the tree of life! Without the fruit, the tree is a barren stump with no value or validity. This fruit is encased in a bitter skin, so that the sweet juice is preserved and guarded! Remove the skin and you can taste the sweetness within and strengthen yourself. The thick rind is symbolic of the six evil passions that encase the loving heart of every human - lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride and hate. Those who remove the rind and contact the sweetness within through hard and consistent discipline, attain the peace we all desire; that peace is everlasting, unchanging, and overwhelming!
